CXR Engine is a no-code, web-based software that allows real estate companies to easily build AR and VR experiences from 3D architectural file formats such as: .FBX and CAD. The product aims to solve the costly and complex nature of developing AR and VR apps, as well as the difficulty of understanding 2D floor plans and the lack of mobility of architectural models.
The goal of CXR Engine is to make XR development accessible and easy for real estate developers, architects, construction engineers, and real estate marketers who have little or no experience in AR/VR development.
As a Lead Product Designer, I was responsible for the overall user experience and design of the CXR Engine software. This included conducting user research, creating wireframes and user flows, and collaborating with the development team to bring the product to life.
The design process for CXR Engine began with conducting user research to understand the pain points and needs of our target audience. From there, we created wireframes and user flows to guide the development of the software. We also conducted user testing to gather feedback and make iterative improvements to the product.
The user flow for CXR Engine begins with uploading a 3D architectural file, such as an .FBX or CAD file, to the software. From there, users can easily customize and add interactive elements to the model, such as hot spots and animations. The final AR or VR experience can then be exported and embedded on a website or shared as a link.

The wireframes for CXR Engine were created to visualize the user interface and layout of the software. They helped to guide the development of the software by illustrating the placement of buttons, menus, and other interactive elements.
